Roy Cornelius Smith

Roy Cornelius Smith is an American tenor, from Big Stone Gap, Virginia.

Smith has been heard on some of the world's greatest operatic stages including the Salzburger Festspiele, the Metropolitan Opera, Volksoper Wien, and the Lyric Opera of Chicago. He has also performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Orchestra del Teatro Carlo Felice, Orchestre Métropolitain du Grand Montréal and with the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra.

Smith has a D.M.A. from the American Conservatory of Music, and BA and MA degrees from UT.
