Roy Bell (born January 5, 1985) is a New Zealand football (soccer) player. He was part of the New Zealand Knights squad as a goalkeeper during the 2005–06 A-League season.

Bell started playing football with Auckland club North Shore United before moving to play with nearby Waitakere United in the New Zealand Football Championship. However, Bell was not first-choice goalkeeper for Waitakere, working as part of the youth development squad and behind Simon Eaddy for the full-time job.[1] The 2004–05 season saw Waitakere finish runners-up to Auckland City FC and in 2005, Bell was selected for the under-20 New Zealand national team, called in as a late replacement for the injured Rhyss Keane.[2] Whilst still playing for Waitakere in early 2006, a knee injury to New Zealand Knights first-choice goalkeeper Danny Milosevic gave Bell the opportunity to step into the squad of the top-tier club. He was signed with the Knights on a short-term contract to cover Milosevic, who was expected to be absent for around 3–4 weeks.[3] Bell, however, could not force his way into the firsts team, waiting on the bench behind the Knights' original second-string 'keeper Glen Moss in matches against the Central Coast Mariners,[4] Newcastle United Jets,[5] Perth Glory[6] and Adelaide United[7]. Bell was de-registered by the Knights at the end of the 2005–06 season.[8] Now with Macarthur Rams in the NSW Premier League where he is the first choice keeper in coach Paul Carter's squad
