Roxana Maracineanu or Mărăcineanu (born May 7, 1975 in Bucharest) is a Romanian-born French former backstroke swimmer. She won the silver medal in the 200m Backstroke at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia.
She was born in Romania but came to France at a very young age with her parents. Maracineanu's first international succes came in 1997, when she won two medals (silver and bronze) at the European LC Championships 1997 in Seville, Spain. A year later she became world champion in the 200m Backstroke in Perth, Western Australia. After having missed qualification for the 2004 Summer Olympics, she announced her retirement from the sport of swimming.
