Rowland Phillips

Rowlan Phillips is a former back row forward for Wales where he won 10 caps between 1987 - 90 rugby union Wales rugby league international player. He also played rugby union for Neath RFC before moving to rugby league. In 2003 he took over as coach of Neath RFC A.K.A Welsh All Blacks from Lyn Jones.
Due to his success at the club he is regarded as a local hero, leading Neath RFC two Premiership titles in successive years. He remains in close touch with supporters of the club and can often be seen in The Duke sharing a pint or three with the locals.
