Rowland Hazard may refer to:
Several members of an influential Rhode Island family of industrialists, prominent in New England textiles (one of the dominant industries of that region into the 20th century) and in other corporations (further information on the Hazard family may also be found in the Solvay, New York article):
- Rowland Hazard (1763-1835), founder of the Narragansett Cotton Manufacturing Company (forerunner of the Peace Dale Manufacturing Company).
- Rowland Gibson Hazard (1801-1888), son of Rowland Hazard (1763-1835) and partner with his brother Isaac P. Hazard (1794-1879) in the successor to the Narragansett Cotton Manufacturing Company, "I.P. & R.G. Hazard," and Secretary-Treasurer of its successor, the Peace Dale Manufacturing Company, 1848-1866.
- Rowland Hazard II (1829-1898), executive of the Peace Dale Manufacturing Company (Secretary-Treasurer 1866-c. 1891; President c. 1892-1898).
- Rowland G. Hazard II (1855-1918), executive of the Peace Dale Manufacturing Company (Secretary-Treasurer c. 1892-1897; President 1898-1918), vice president of the Solvay Process Company and proponent of Allied Chemical and Dye.
- Rowland Hazard III (1881-1945), Secretary-Treasurer of the Peace Dale Manufacturing Company until its sale to M.T. Stevens and Sons in 1918, Rhode Island state senator 1914-1916 and executive with other industrial interests including Allied Chemical and Dye, also the "Rowland H." connected with the events surrounding the founding of Alcoholics Anonymous.
