Rowan Gillies

Rowan Gillies was the president of Médecins Sans Frontières. He completed his surgical training in 1999. He later went on to become a field doctor in Afghanistan and Sierra Leone for MSF. In January 2002 he became Australia's MSF leader and went on to become the international leader later that year. In 2006 Dr Christophe Fournier became president of MSF's International Counsil.
