Rove goat

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Rove is a breed of goat first domesticated in France. The breed was previously considered endangered however as of 2003 there are more than 5000 registered Rove's on French farms.[1] The goat was originally bred for meat but because the current French market for goat meat is poor farmers have began to use the Rove for dairy instead.[2]
