[edit] Unreferenced article
In reaction to:
transport references sourced form atlas' or personal experiences
I have reinstated the unreferenced article tag as the article does not have any references. Furthermore, personal experiences are not valid references unless WP:IAR which this subject can do without. If atlases are used as references they should be referenced. Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons 11:32, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
Captain, I trust you are keeping well. However that is one of the most pointless interjections I have yet to see. I hope you will be referencing your own contributions and at the same time all the other contributions on transport links for France, Spain the UK etc. All can be checked using numerous on-line maps sites, there seems no point adding a specific reference. Personal experience travelling a road means I can confirm the RN6 passes through Auxerre etc because I have driven along it, maybe you should treat yourself to a holiday and do the same! lol --Vivbaker 10:51, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- Wikipedia does not accept personnal research. And look at my profile... I do taked holidays now and again, hence the numerous out of location article I contribute to. I however do not use my own experience to edit the articles but use it to inspire me and look for notable websites and sources such as books to verify my sayings. Every time you edit an article you are afterall reminded that Encyclopedic content must be attributable to a reliable source, bare in mind that, neither you or I are reliable or notable sources.
