Talk:Rough Cuts (radio series)

In case there's concern over third-party coverage of the show to show notability, there's this article, though I'm hesitant to mention it in the article because it mentions a different launch date than the Talk of the Nation broadcast did, and I'm guessing TotN is more correct. --Interiot 04:30, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

- That's because Michel Martin's show and the new morning show are not one in the same. See below. Acarvin 02:41, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Correcting confusion over Rough Cuts' purpose
I've made some changes to the entry to correct some of the confusion surrounding the project. Rough Cuts is not the new Michel Martin show, nor is it the new morning show targeting a younger audience. It's a blog and podcast for publishing experimental programming for future radio shows. The first show to utilize Rough Cuts is Michel Martin's show, and in February, Rough Cuts will begin featuring content from the morning show in development. Think of it as a proving grounds or a dress rehearsal space. The Rough Cuts blog is beginning to clarify these differences to address the confusion. Acarvin 02:40, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
