Round Rock Christian Academy has been considered one of the best private academies in the Central Texas area. The school is home to many of the smartest and brightest youth in the *Austin area. With over 500 students currently enlisted in the 2007-2008 school year, RRCA boasts as one of the biggest academies in Central Texas, just behind *Regents School of Austin, and *Brentwood. RRCA has provided excellence in Christian education in the Austin area for over 30 years. The faculty of highly educated and Godly teachers are committed to training young minds to be ready to face challenges of the future. RRCA has a duel accredition with the *Association of Christian Schools and the *Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, also known as ACSI and SACS. RRCA'S bold mission is to cultivate a heart for God by providing a Christian centered, college prepartory education.
The school provides a diverse curriculum that is integrated with Biblical truth. Materials are published by *ABeka, *Bob Jones, *ACSI, *Saxon, and other well respected companies. Bible is taught daily and *chapel us held once a week for all grades. RRCA students are taught the fundamentals of drama, theater, art, debate, symphony, music, and other areas related to the arts appropriate for their age. Students in 6th-12th grades are eligible to participate in the athletic program. RRCA is a member of the *Austin Christian Athletic Association and *Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools, and competes with area Christian schools in 6-man non-district football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track.
Academic Excellence Awards are awarded to students 4th-12th grades who maintain grade averages between 4.0 and 3.0.
