Rougeau wrestling family

The Rougeau wrestling family is a Canadian professional wrestling family that dates back to the 1940s.

Eddie Auger was the first of the family wrestlers. He was the uncle of Jacques Rougeau, Sr. and his brother Johnny, who started wrestling in the 1950s in their native Canada.

Jacques has 3 sons who wrestled: Jacques, Jr.; Raymond; and Armand Rougeau. Jacques and Raymond comprised a tag team under the name The Fabulous Rougeaus. Jacque also partnered with Carl Ouellet to form The Quebecers.

Jacques' daughter Johanne promoted wrestling shows in Canada and is a bodybuilder. She was once a marketing specialist for the World Wrestling Federation. She is married to wrestler Denis Gauthier, Sr.. They have a son, Denis, Jr., who plays for the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League.
