From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hello. I'm a creative-type computer programmer guy.
I'm a big fan of Wikipedia, despite it's obvious flaws. I think Wikipedia is asking the question "what is truth" in a more profound way than ever before. And our discomfort with the answer is simply a sign that we never really thought about it.
[edit] Contributions
I am much more of a reader than an editor, but I do correct typos, bad links, and problems with clarity as I come across them. Slightly more significant:
- My first edit was adding to the Luxor Hotel article when I first moved to Las Vegas. I was anonymous at the time (IP 65.40.148.170).
- Started the articles on World Entertainment War and Rob Brezsny
- Started the articles on My Flesh and Blood (film)
- Started the article on Vendetta: A Christmas Story
- Started the article on Activision Gamemaker
I hadn't looked at those in a while. Seems I need to go back and add some verifiable sources. Damn sloppy newbie editor that I am.
[edit] Personal Sites
I have a slight presence on the web, and so does my wife:
- My Personal Site (woefully outdated)
- My Personal Blog
- My Opinion Blog
[edit] Rant
I love America. But what the hell happened? Is this really happening? And will it ever improve? Gah.
