Rottefella

Rottefella (literally "The Rat Trap") is a Norwegian ski binding manufacturer.

Taking effect beginning of the 2007-2008, Rottefella will be the official bindings of Fischer Skis boots. Presently, Fischer boots use the Salomon Nordic System (SNS.) Rottefella is a manufacturer of NNN (New Nordic Norm) bindings. These two binding systems are not compatible, and, beginning in 2007, Fischer will be using the NNN system to be compatible with Rottefella bindings.

The original "rat trap" toe binding was invented by Bror With in 1927, and was the standard cross country binding for over 50 years until it was replaced by the NNN binding.
