Rotenburg an der Fulda is a town in the district Hersfeld-Rotenburg, in Hesse, Germany. It is situated on the Fulda River, 14 km north of Bad Hersfeld.
In 2001, local resident Armin Meiwes killed and ate much of another man in a bizarre sexual pact at Meiwes' home in the town.
