Description:
This animation is designed to be used in conjunction with Image:Rotational_vibrational_coupling.gif
The two circles represent two balls that are circling each other. The two balls are connected by a spring. The spring is at all points of the motion exerting a centripetal force. The force exerted by the spring is proportional to the distance of the balls to the center of rotation.
In this animation the motion of the circling balls is mapped to a coordinate system that is rotating.
