[edit] NorMan

Hi. Just so you know, Wikipedia is not really the place for definitions of words, especially not words specific to just one college. If you want to add to the section on Marist College's culture, it might be appropriate there, but it's not suitable for an article.

Best of luck. SnowFire 23:19, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Abacus Publications

A tag has been placed on Abacus Publications, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please write {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, articles #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Dgies 07:49, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Easy Tiger

Hey mate, an article of yours, Abacus Publications, was deleted for being about a non-notable company. Could I urge you to reconsider your current campaign of creating an article for every title the company has ever released? Please leave a message on my talk page if you need clarification.•Elomis• 03:07, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

To follow up on this, I've just deleted Fly the Airbus A380!, which you created. Have a look at WP:SOFTWARE for our guidelines regarding articles about software and games, and WP:CORP for guidelines on articles about companies. Opabinia regalis 05:31, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:CherbourgMap.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:CherbourgMap.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:OffTheRecord.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:OffTheRecord.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:WindWakerFrontCover.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:WindWakerFrontCover.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 03:22, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of List of minor gods in Age of Mythology and The Titans

I have nominated List of minor gods in Age of Mythology and The Titans, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of minor gods in Age of Mythology and The Titans. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
