[edit] Free Debt Management Plans
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Free Debt Management Plans, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Free Debt Management Plans. Triwbe (talk) 15:21, 11 April 2008 (UTC) Rose68 (talk) 14:54, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

- Hi. Yes, this is better. Please note that we are writing an encyclopedia here, not a how-to or an internet directory. I have linked some of our policies and guidelines, and the manual of style in the welcome message above. Hope this explains, see you around! --Dirk Beetstra T C 14:41, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bpayplan\.com\b' (link(s): http://www.payplan.com/debt-management-plans.php/) .
Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 10:13, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Free Debt Management Plans. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it.

- These sites you are adding are of concern, please do not add them, we are not an advertising service or an internet directory. --Dirk Beetstra T C 10:34, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Adding an item to the talkpage does not mean there is consensus about adding them. Wait for others to respond (positively). Thanks. --Dirk Beetstra T C 10:35, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
A please would be nice - I didn't realise posting anything on Wikipedia would be such hassle - I'm an experienced professional with knowledge to share - and from various pages around Wikipedia, including some of those that you yourself have edited, I have come across links and information of dubious quality that appear not to get any recognition at all - the Individual Voluntary Arrangement page for example has a link to (pardon the industry jargon - if you're not up on the debt world) an IVA Factory call debtlifeboat. I have no objection to advise on how to familaiarise myself with the workings of Wikipedia, but I do object to being ordered about, especially if that person hasn't even had the courtesy to understand my knowledge base and the free and respected organisations that I believe can further understanding of various debt issues and topics (which I understood Wikipedia to be for). Please excuse me if this sounds rude, it is not meant to be, merely born out of frustration than anything else. Rose68 (talk) 10:43, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- I am sorry, did not want to sound rude as well. But we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, which is mainly based on content. External links should tell more about the subject, and are preferably used as references (linked to content) or the external info should be incorporated. These three links give links to sites outside which provide free management, but not information that enriches the encyclopedia. This section reads more as a directory entry (see WP:NOT#DIRECTORY) than as an external links section (see Wikipedia:External links). I hope this explains. --Dirk Beetstra T C 11:00, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
