[edit] Le Villi

Hello! These are the lines:

Se come voi piccina
Io fossi, o vaghi fior,
Sempre, sempre vicina
Potrei stare al mio amor.

Allor dirgli vorrei
Io penso sempre a te,
Ripetergli vorrei
Non ti scordar di me.

Voi di me più felici
Lo seguirete, io fior,
Per valli e per pendici
Seguirete il mio amor.

Ma se il nome che avete
Menzognero non è,
Al mio amor ripetete:
«Non ti scordar di me!»

The problem is that you can sometimes name an aria, a corus, a duet with an emistich («Va' pensiero» instead of «Va', pensiero, sull'ali dorate» - «Casta diva» instead of «Casta diva che inargenti») but not with one verse and a half: «Se come voi piccina.... Io fossi»). Therefore, the correct way is to use the first verse. Ciao from Italy --Al Pereira(talk) 11:44, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

I see. I had't seen the text - it had seemed to me that "Se come voi piccina io fossi" was a complete phrase and "Se come voi piccina" was incomplete, thinking grammatically instead of structurally. Thanks. Roscelese 03:11, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
Both would be incomplete, but this is normal. Best --Al Pereira(talk) 20:34, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Lazarus and Dives RFC

An RFC has been filed to determine whether or not the position of the Jesus Seminar should be included in Lazarus and Dives. Your comments would be most welcome. --Joopercoopers 22:33, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

I really don't know anything about the topic - I was editing Steeleye Span-related articles. Sorry I can't help out. Roscelese 23:08, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Friendly Hostility

Hi, I think it's great that you've gotten permission from the artist to use these images at Wikipedia. Ironically though, permission to use something "at Wikipedia" is not sufficient for us to use it here. The permission has to run to the full extent of the GFDL, including subsequent commercial use and modification. Please take a look at this page and get back in touch with the artist to see if the proper permission will be provided. If it is, you can tag the images with the proper free license. If not, they will have to be removed. Sorry this is complicated. Free content issues usually are. Let me know if you have any further questions about this. Thanks very much! -- But|seriously|folks  22:51, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I replaced it with an image I thought was better and didn't think I was allowed to delete the first one - so, delation, all well and good. Roscelese 21:11, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
