Intro
While in San Francisco on 2007-06-04, I created my wiki user account and wrote my first article (Book League of America). It was an awesome feeling. What influenced me to start writing?
- I read Asimov's Foundation series years ago, and the idea of a collaborative encyclopedia, containing the sum knowledge of mankind, created over decades, fascinated me. I still think about it.
- My grandmother, now long gone, was a textbook editor in Europe... my genetic link to wikipedic work. (It seems to me that she, more than anyone else I know, would understand why I'm a wikipedist.)
