[edit] Building heights
Regarding the following statement:
- the numerous skyscrapers in the dense business section of Rosslyn make it in some ways more urban than much of Washington. This is partly due to the Washington ordinance which restricts buildings from being taller than the Washington Monument.
The height ordinance was in response to the construction of the controversial Cairo Hotel (1894). The actual height limits are determined by the width of the street and are not linked to the height of the Washington Monument. See Talk:Washington, D.C.#Height limit? or do a Google search on "The Cairo" building height "Washington DC". -- Gyrofrog (talk) 17:59, 21 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Is there a reason this information is supplied in the article? At best, any listing of such places should involve a category. If no one provides a good reason, I'll edit the article to remove this section or at least, make it more suitable for inclusion.~ (The Rebel At) ~ 18:36, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
- Been four months, no objections. I'm just going to delete this section as its not really relevant. ~ (The Rebel At) ~ 00:24, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
