Hey smart people, isn't "Ross's" spelt Ross' ? I think this whole page has misspelt ross' all in it
- I figure that whatever the consensus in the scientific literature is, that's what the name is. (Even if it is misspelled by normal grammatical rules.) If someone can provide a reference either way, that would be helpful – and given that I personally don't know which way is right and the entire page has it spelled one way, I say leave it until someone can provide proof one way or the other. --BlackAndy 02:48, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sighting in California
I edited the page to remove a second mention of the sighting in California, and added a note regarding the rarity of it being that far south to the first mention of that state. Given that this is likely to be a one-time event, I think this is sufficient for the page. --BlackAndy 02:52, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

Just adding to the above, I found the article, which clearly states that it is the Ross' Gull, so I am going a head with the changes. 67.172.125.13 01:10, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
