[edit] Proposed merger

I think there are problems with the names in use on both articles in that they are incorrectly capitalised with regard to the Wikipedia conventions.

I have sent an email via the AJC website requesting confirmation of the preferred/official name of the venue, AND the track (they may have different names). Both names are used on the AJC website, and by different facilities (eg: function centre) within the venue.

I support the following concept:

There should be one article with other existing articles becoming a redirect
The article should be either Rosehill Gardens racecourse or Rosehill racecourse.
'Rosehill Racecourse is not capitalised in accordance with wikipedia naming convention.

The Sydney Turf Club web site [1] refer to the venue as Rosehill Gardens Racecourse, so I think that name should be used for the article title.
The naming convention for proper names of specific institutions require capitalisation. Therefore all uses of the word "Racecourse" in conjuction with a specific place should be capitalised as are all UK Racecourses. - Cuddy Wifter 03:31, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

i vote to merge the articles to Rosehill Gardens Racecourse. (dark horse 04:18, 26 July 2006 (UTC))
