ROSE THEATRE DISCUSSION

Who's for, who's against. and WHY?

I think it is an excellent investment for the city. As we grow we need to remember not to consider arts and culture. For example, the city of Mississauga built an excellent performing arts centre, which is substantially larger than the Rose Theatre. If ANYTHING, this project is too small. The Rose will only hold 850 people, which is unexceptable. Also, this project should not only be the construction of a performance space; however, a full out rivitalization of arts in Brampton. How about a professional orchestra... Then people would actually come to Brampton.

I suggest the originator should start a page on the subject and move his issue there. It is a good issue and I would speak to it there.

The second paragraph needs citations. I'd like to know where that quote and those numbers came from. Please remember to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). Thanks. -Enviroboy (Talk|Contribs) 18:11, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
