[edit] Copyvio

Other than one sentence, the text has been copied from http://www.rosebyrne.org/rose/bio.html and is therefore an infringement of copyright. The webpage says: "ALL THE PICTURES AND MATERIAL USED IN THIS SITE ARE COPYRIGHTED TO THEIR ORIGINAL OWNERS." Wikipedia takes copyright issues very seriously and the page will need to be rewritten. The text concerned has been removed from the article. —Moondyne 23:37, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

I do not see any copyright info on that page and in fact it looks quite amatuerish, for all we know it could be copied from the wikipedia article- Moshe Constantine Hassan Al-Silverburg | Talk 17:33, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
The copyright notice is on http://www.rosebyrne.org/. Besides, even without the notice, it is not permitted to copy text off any website to Wikipedia unless there is explicit permission given and appropriate licensing available to do so. Read Wikipedia's policy on copyright WP:COPY. I am removing the text again accordingly. Also, the text off the website is written in an unencyclopaedic style and is inappropriate for use here. It needs to be rewritten in a neutral NPOV tone. —Moondyne 21:55, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
No need to worry about that anymore as I have rewritten the bio for rosebyrne.org. It was originally written by someone whose native language is not English, so I wouldn't regard her writing as amateurish, rather non-native. ;) At any rate, I think this article on wiki could still use fleshing out.Cariel 05:09, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

Is Rose Bryne in any way related to Gabriel Bryne?
