Talk:Rosa von Praunheim
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Why is this article called a stub, and even twice?
In my opinion, which I of course do not want to enforce as the norm, this article is very well written and gives us much worthful information. I would be glad, if all the articles in the Wikipedia would be so generous in the amount of sources in books and lists of all the films. There are just two little suggestions, which I would want to give the author:
1. There should be an explanation of the name with more details. There is a danger that foreign readers misunderstand the "von" as a nobility title like Von Schaumburg-Lippe or Von Stroheim. But this it is not in our case. It means only that Rosa von Praunheim comes "von" Praunheim, in English: "from" or more exact "out of" Praunheim.
2. The directors masterwork Die Bettwurst from 1970 would deserve a separate article. This beautifully made Love Story is in the opinion of some notable critics by far the best and most interesting movie, that was produced in Germany (or perhaps in all of Europe) since the second worldwar. Especially the extensive truetolive love scenes between the main performers Luzi (Luzi Kryn) and Dietmar (Dietmar Kracht) are the highest, which Cinema can offer us. It would be nice, if the author of the article could present the Wikipedia with an introduction to this masterpiece. --Hanno Kuntze 08:44, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
