Roswell is a Stargate SG-1 novel written by Sonny Whitelaw and Jennifer Fallon and published by Fandemonium.[2]
The story is set near the end of Season 10 of the show and includes the original four Stargate SG-1 team members in addition to the two new members, Colonel Cameron Mitchell and Vala Mal Doran. The book addresses several twentieth century conspiracies including the Roswell incident in New Mexico, 1947, the Tunguska impact in 1908, and the death of Lord Carnarvon (co-discoverer of Tutankhamun's tomb) in 1921, which triggered the enduring 'curse of the mummy' myths. Several science fiction writers of the era, including H. P. Lovecraft, also appear in the story.
[edit] Plot summary
When a Stargate malfunction throws Colonel Cameron Mitchell, Dr. Daniel Jackson, Teal'c, and Colonel Sam Carter back in time, they only have minutes to live. But their rescue, by an unlikely duo - General Jack O'Neill and Vala Mal Doran - is only the beginning of their problems.
