Rossett (Welsh:Yr Orsedd) is a village in Wrexham county borough, north-east Wales. During the last census, Rossett had a population of 3,386 people. In terms of amenities Rossett is well served by schools, numerous "gastro-type" public houses, schools and village shops. The village being close the towns of Wrexham and Chester also has two popular hotels.

Rossett is geographically located near to the Welsh and English border towns of Wrexham (6.5miles) and Chester (7.5miles). The village sits within the Welsh border and is built on the banks of the River Alyn which is a tributary of the River Dee one-and-a-half miles downstream.
Rossett's neighbouring villages are Marford, Burton, Pulford and Holt.
