Ross McGowan (born 23 April 1982) is an English professional golfer.
McGowan was born in Basildon, England. He played collegiate golf at the University of Tennessee. McGowan won the 2006 English Amateur Championship. He defeated Oliver Fisher in the final by the score of 5&4. Shortly after that he turned professional. McGowan led the Challenge Tour's 2007 money list going into the Apulia San Domenico Grand Final. He finished in a tie for 28th place though and ended up falling out of first. Michael Lorenzo-Vera won the tournament and the Order of Merit title. He is playing on the European Tour in 2008, and he moved into the top one hundred of the Official World Golf Rankings in January of that year.
