Ross Butler (politician)

Ross Butler (born c. 1944)[1] is an Australian politician, who has been an Australian Labor Party member of the Tasmanian House of Assembly since 2008, representing the electorate of Franklin. He won his seat on a countback of votes on June 10, 2008 after the sitting member and Premier of Tasmania Paul Lennon resigned in May 2008.[2]
Prior to entering Parliament, Butler had worked as a taxi driver and a school principal.[3]
