Rosewood is an unincorporated community in Wayne County, North Carolina, south of US 70, on NC 581.

In 1986, there was an elementary school in the community.[1] Rosewood Elementary School [2], operated by Wayne County Public Schools, has the same name as the school reported in 1986, but is located about 2 km west of the location reported in 1986.
