Roseville Joint Union High School District

Roseville Joint Union High School District is a school district that consists of 4 regular high schools, 2 continuation high schools, an adult school, and a campus under construction. The district covers the cities of Roseville and Granite Bay, two suburbs of Sacramento that are located in Placer County. When Antelope High School (currently under construction) opens, the district will also have a presence in the northern Sacramento County suburb of Antelope.

  • API scores can be as high as 1,000 and the target score for California schools is 800. Each schools statewide ranking is from 1 (lowest achieving school) to 10 (highest achieving school)
  • Granite Bay High School is located in Granite Bay, a wealthy suburb. GBHS is the highest achieving school in the district with an API score of 830. Its statewide ranking is a 10. The school is 83% Caucasian, 7% Asian, 5% Hispanic, and 1% African American.
  • Woodcreek High School is located in Roseville. It is the second highest achieving school in the district with an API score of 760. Its statewide ranking is an 8. The school is 72% White, 10% Hispanic, 10% Asian, and 4% African American.
  • Oakmont High School is located in Roseville. Its API score is 743 and its statewide ranking is a 7. The school is 50% White, 9% Hispanic, 8% Asian, and 20% African American.
  • Roseville High School is also located in Roseville. Its API score is 735 and its statewide ranking is a 7. The school is 64% White, 19% Hispanic, 9% Asian, and 3% African American.
  • Antelope High School will be located in the northern Sacramento County community of Antelope which demographically speaking is more diverse on the whole than Granite Bay or Roseville. Antelope students currently attend Center High School and Oakmont High School.

The Board of Trustees for the Roseville Joint Union High School District is currently made up of the following elected individuals: Paige K. Stauss (President, Term expires 2008), Jack Duran (Vice President, Term expires 2010), Russell Jan Pinney (Clerk, Term expires 2008), Garry Genzlinger (Member, Term expires 2008), and Scott E. Huber (Member, Term expires 2008).
