Roseto Basket

Roseto Basket also known as Roseto Sharks was an Italian professional basketball team from Roseto that has been established in 1946 and is currently defunct. It has gone bankrupt after the 2005/06 season, during which it came 15th out of 18 teams in the top Italian league, Serie A. Just the previous season, in 2004/05, they have reached their best result, coming in 7th in the league. The team played its home games at PalaMaggetti.
During history, due to sponsorship deals, the team has been known as Cover Jeans Roseto (1982-1983), Cordivari Roseto (1998-2001), Euro Roseto (2001-2004), Sedima Roseto (2004-2005) and BT Roseto (2005-2006).[1]
