Rosemary Enright (born 9 June 1947) is a British author of romantic fiction. Educated at Casterton School (the same school that the Brontë sisters attended) and later Bangor University and The Sorbonne. An early career as an Army Officer provided much of the material for her novel 'Officer Quality' and also two husbands. She is currently divorced, has one adult daughter and lives in the Dordogne, France.
