Rosemary Burnett

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rosemary Burnett is the former head of Amnesty International (Scotland) having left the position in January of 2007 to contest the 2007 Scottish Parliament Election as a Scottish Green Party candidate.[1] She was second on the Greens Party's "list" for the Glasgow region.[2] However, she failed to get elected as the party's share of the list vote actually decreased in the election.[3] She is currently the chair of Friends of the Earth Scotland (FoE) and has worked as a human rights observer in Guatemala.[4]
