Rosedale, Ontario

Rosedale is an unincorporated village located in the city of Kawartha Lakes, partially in Fenelon Township and Somerville Township, Canada. It is home to Lock 35 of the Trent-Severn Waterway on Balsam Lake. Travellers pass through Rosedale regularily while travelling on Highway 35 north of Fenelon Falls, Ontario to Coboconk.

The village of Rosedale is located Twenty-nine kilometers north-west of Lindsay. The population of Rosedale is roughly 7.

  • Rosedale celebrated the First Annual "National Marina Day" on August 13, 2005, with events at the local Rosedale Marina. [1]
  • In 2001, [2] Rosedale played host to part of an episode of the OLN Reality Series "Drifters: The Water Wars" as they passed through the Trent-Severn Waterway.[3]
