The Rose Island Light, built in 1870, is located on Rose Island in Narragansett Bay in Newport,Rhode Island in the United States. The Rose Island Lighthouse Foundation preserves, maintains and operates the lighthouse . The federal government has listed the lighthouse on the National Register of Historic Places.

The lighthouse also serves as a travel destination — visitors can, for a fee, spend the night at the lighthouse, or can spend a week as the "lighthouse keeper" (which involves completing many of the chores required to keep the lighthouse in good condition). Accommodations are arranged through the Rose Island Lighthouse Foundation. Travel to the lighthouse is possible only by boat.
