Rosamund John

Rosamund John (born Nora Jones, 19 October 1913– 27 October 1998) was an English film and stage actress.
She was raised in Tottenham and became a popular film and stage actress who was known for playing gentle mannered women. She died from natural causes in London in 1998 aged 85.
She was twice married:
- 1) The film editor Russell Lloyd (1943–1949)
- 2) The politician John Silkin (1950–1987); one son Rory (born 1954)
