Rosalind (horse)

Rosalind was a trotting mare born May 5, 1933. She is was by the sire Scotland out of Alma Lee by Lee Worthy.

Rosalind won the 1936 Hambletonian at Good Time Park in Goshen, New York. She once raced in double harness, hitched to the great trotting gelding Greyhound.

Her story and that of her owner Gibson White, is immortalized in the Marguerite Henry book "Born to Trot".
