Rosa Russo Iervolino (born September 17, 1936 in Naples) is an Italian politician. She is the current mayor of Naples. She is a member of the Democratic Coalition (Olive Tree), but in the past she was in the Christian Democracy. She was the first woman to become Minister of the Interior in Italy and mayor of a big city.

She ran as a candidate for Mayor of Naples in the 2001 municipal election as The Union (centre-left coalition) and she won with 53% of votes. On May 29, 2006, she was confirmed with over 57% of votes.
