Rosa María Britton

Rosa María Britton is a Panamanian novelist born July 28, 1936 in Panama City to a Cuban father and a Panamanian mother. She attended school in Panama City and her secondary studies in Havana, Cuba. She earned a Doctorates in Medicine from the University of Madrid and continued her studies in gynecology and oncology in the United States. She has lived in Panama since 1973. Her time as a writer began in 1978 and in 1995 when she became President of the International Pen Club of Panama
