'Schoener's Nutkana' is a rose variety named after Father Georg Schoener, a priest who became a notable rose breeder, who developed this rose in 1930 as a cross between Rosa nutkana and Rosa 'Paul Neyron'.

This variety is a shrub rose, with single rose flowers, five-petalled but sometimes with another one or two, deep pink in color with a large circle of yellow stamens. The plant tends to be a sprawling shrub, with very few thorns on the stems and small light green leaves.
