'Général Jacqueminot' is the prototype of the Hybrid Perpetual rose class. It has dark red petals and is extremely fragrant. The flowers grow on long stems and were long stemmed rose. The bushes grow to be 5 ft tall and 4 ft wide.
It is the flower of Theta Tau Professional Engineering Fraternity,Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, and Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority.
