I speak Castilian (there is no such a language as "Spanish" since many languages are spoken in Spain) and neither "roque" nor "nublo" are modern Castilian. Maybe they are ancient words? or another language spoken in Spain?
"Roque" is a derivated word from rock and you have others in the same sense common in all Spain as "Roquedo", "Roquedal"... Roque it's very common in Canary Islands there are dozens examples in several islands. Nublo is a derivation of Nube "cloud", or better "clouded" althought not "nublado", some people say that can be aborigin and to be "Nugro" The name is because many times the Roque emerge from the sea clouds as here http://www.made4you.org/Galerie/thumbs/GranCanaria_3.jpg --Bentaguayre 22:07, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
