Roquen is the word for "knight" in the artificial language Sindarin developed by J. R. R. Tolkien. The title of Roquen was given to the finest of the soldiers, or Ohtarin, of Númenor. There were several of these among the Dúnedain of the Last Alliance of Elves and Men. There were also thirty Roquen at the Battle of Gladden Fields.
The term was carried down through Gondor into the Third Age. It was bequeathed to knights of Minas Tirith and Dol Amroth.
