Ropeadope was founded as a record label in 1999 by Andrew Blackman Hurwitz. While producing a diverse mix of jazz, hip-hop, and electronica, the label has also attracted a loyal following for its unique line of branded clothing. Ropeadope clothing has been sighted onstage and on the street around the world. The company is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The label has announced that starting in February, they will be going completely digital and all music will be released online on their website and other music downloading sites.[1]
