Rooney Roon

Rooney Roon is a former Ultramagnetic MC's member who was kicked out of the group after an arrest with charges of battery. The victim was a 75 year old bronx resident whose home he attempted to rob for money to purchase crack cocaine with. He published a now rare vinyl release in 1984 called Roon To be Rowdey. The release was two tracks long, one of the two being a remix. His brother "Ren Renny" was featured on the track "I'm Rooning You" for a period of thirty seconds.

The vocals were some what genetic between the two with a unique style, focusing on names like Roony Roon and Ren Renny, the most distinct line being " when the roon scratches like a racoon the Ren Renny man makes a tin man from penny's and jam, slice me like a cake, I'm Rooney Roon thats Ren Renny make no mistake". Rooney Roon is still in jail and his brother visits him weekly.
