[edit] Escape the Fate
If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. Chubbles (talk) 04:48, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
craig is not actually in the band. hes just temporary. it even says so on the bands myspace. so until the band changes it to that he is permanent i wont stop changing it because technically thats lying to everyone who reads wikipedia hes not IN the band hes FILLING IN until they find a permanent singer.
You are right that he is only temporarily filling in. However, you should abide by the suggestions outlined above. Thanks. Timmeh! 23:03, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
okay well everyone should know hes only temporary and im going to keep changing it if it gets changed,because everyone should know.

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Ronnie radke. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. Onorem♠Dil 01:12, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- The sourcing still doesn't appear to be adequate for the majority of the information. MySpace and Shoutmouth aren't considered reliable sources. I'm going to revert again. If you feel the need to create an article for Radke, please do so at Radke instead of radke...and please only insert information that is reliably sourced. As a side note, please consider changing your username or making a clear statement on User:Ronnieradke that you are not Ronnie Radke. According to the username policy, you should not edit under the name of a well-known living person unless it is your real name, and you either are that person or you make it clear that you are not. --Onorem♠Dil 12:32, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] 3RR warning
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Onorem♠Dil 12:57, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- Please use the talk pages. If you continue to simply revert multiple editors, it will eventually lead to a block. --Onorem♠Dil 13:10, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] A note from XLinkBot
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Ronnie radke do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: 'youtube\.com' . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image or a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 13:06, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Escape the Fate
The article already says what you're trying to add. But it doesn't use all caps, or multiple exclamation points, since that's never useful in an encyclopedia article. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 17:34, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
no that wasnt my article, someone else wrote that. it was an accident that i clicked "undo" i thought i was on another article.
- No big deal; you were fixing it just as I was writing the above message, and all is well now. Sorry... -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 17:38, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- I regret to inform you that you have been blocked for 24 hours because of your edit warring. In the future, please pursue dispute resolution rather than repeatedly reverting. If you wish to contest this block, you may write {{unblock|your reason here}} on your talk page. Heimstern Läufer (talk) 22:29, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
i dont see how its fair that i get blocked for putting up information about ronnie radke when many fans would want to see about him in general NOT just about the band he was in. and i cited my sources, but most my information came from interviews of the band that i saw on youtube, and you cant add that into the sources.....
[edit] Notability of Ronnie Joseph Radke
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Ronnie Joseph Radke, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Ronnie Joseph Radke seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Ronnie Joseph Radke, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 20:01, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Notability of Ronnie Radke
A tag has been placed on Ronnie Radke requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. TonyBallioni (talk) 20:06, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Ronnie Radke
Hopping around to different article titles isn't the solution. You need to start using reliable sources. (Please read that link.) What you saw in some interview is not acceptable as a source. The rules are especially strict when it comes to biographies of living people. (Please read that link too.) --Onorem♠Dil 20:07, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Please consider trying to build the article at User:Ronnieradke/Ronnie Radke. Even in user space, it will be unacceptable for contentious material to be included without being properly sourced, but you should have a little more time to develop the article that way. --Onorem♠Dil 20:12, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
okayy, alot of people want to know about Ronnie Radke as a person not just about the band hes in. all im trying to do is tell people about him. how about instead of deleting my article you let people add to it. i added some refrences i had but most the information i know about ronnie i either got from talking to him personally or interviews ive watched of him and i cant cite youtube as a reference on wikipedia.
- It doesn't matter who or how many people want to know about him. Biographies need reliable sources. Most of the information is from talking to him or interviews means that it is original research, which isn't allowed here. Please, again, be aware of 3RR...which you've already broken again. --Onorem♠Dil 20:23, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
its not your job to worry about what people write on wikipedia. you act like im shelling out all these lies go look up everything i wrote and you'll see its all true. my refereces cant be put down and that doesnt even matter because all thats in my article is still true. and i did cite sources.
- And now it looks like you're edit warring again. I'm not going to block you now, but I probably will if you keep reverting, and another sysop may make a different decision and block you even if you don't go on. You must pursue dispute resolution, as edit warring is prohibited at Wikipedia. Heimstern Läufer (talk) 01:07, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced defamatory content into an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did to Ronnie Radke, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Onorem♠Dil 02:02, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] EL OH EL
I'm sorry. I just find it funny the way you were constantly trying to edit the escape the fate article because there "temporary" part wasnt on craigs name in the member list. Even though it said in the article he was just Temp. Nobody clearly cared but you did. You cared because it bothers you that he was filling in the band. You obviously have a triumphant hard-on for Ronnie Radke so you kept changing it. Then you got banned for being a loser. Now its official and Ronnie Radke is out of the band and Craig is the new lead singer. I bet that really hurts you doesnt it? MOVE THE HELL ON. Xsyner (talk)
