[edit] Wendy van der Plank

Hi there. There are cited sources giving Wendy van der Plank's date of birth, so I've restored it. I agree with you, though, that it was unlikely she was that young when she played Wizadora. However, these are the only sources we have, so that's what we have to go with. If you can find any more information on this lovely young lady (including a citable accurate date of birth, or what she's up to now) I would love to see it in the article. Take care. -- JediLofty User ¦ Talk 08:47, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

What you said is relevant, but I'm afraid that's not the point. Wikipedia needs to cite reliable sources. Any information you personally hold is technically "original research" which is not allowed (see WP:NOR). However, you do make a valid point about the cricket thing. But on the other hand, that kind of information is less likely to attract litigation than an accusation of an affair. The article does have a notice on it saying that sources have not been provided, so that informs users that information may not be correct, and also prompts users who can provide reliable sources to do so. Wikipedia can't go on the word of individual users, I'm afraid, especially on contentious issues  — superbfc talk | cont ] — 16:47, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
