Claims that he is Indian parsi is false. He is an Irani which is an iranian. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 129.11.77.197 (talkcontribs) 12:43, 25 January 2007 (UTC).

Interesting. We also have a Punjabi who came from Karachi, spoke Sindhi, and played for Gujarat Tintin 13:13, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Ronnie Irani himself said his father was a Parsi. There is an Indian Zoroastrian community in India called the Iranis who descend from more recent immigrants. He might have some ancestry to them. Many Iranis like to call themselves Parsis, as they probably have Parsi mothers or fathers and are gradually being absorbed by them anyway. Afghan Historian 15:41, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
