I'm not convinced that he ever "got his hands dirty" and actually worked on electronic music in the Radiophonic Workshop. I'll investigate, but if I find no evidence I'll edit this article.Silver plane

Already have done. I'm also pretty sure that he never did any of the actual radiophonic stuff, but I think my wording has left me an out if I turn out to be wrong.  :o)
